The objective for this project was create and design a brand identity
for a fictional company. ARTIGIANI is a tailor based in Rome, Italy that is an established and family-owned brand that is renowned for its prestige and supreme craft. The “mark” for ARTIGIANI needed to be simple and elegant, and most importantly, able to be stitched easily into the lapel of a suit. The idea behind this mark was that it is the “signature” or “stamp of authenticity” after long and tedious work has been done on a premium suit. It is the last piece of work done in the tailor’s process of work, the seal of approval for the highest level of craftsmanship.
